In the Parc des Bastions, the Kiosque des Bastions is a real peaceful place right in the centre of town. Enjoy a good meal or a drink in a quiet, family-friendly setting, while taking advantage of the huge shaded terrace. Two brunch menus are available every Sunday at 11am and 1.30pm, it is recommended to book in advance. You can consult the brunch menu.

La Chaloupe à Vapeur

In front of the Science Museum, the Chaloupe à Vapeur (previously called Barje des Sciences) is the place to be for relaxing afternoons and dancing evenings. The "Genève" no longer sails but remains docked between the Flower Clock and the Jet d'eau. Built in 1896, it was the first ship of the Belle Époque and the scene of Empress Sissi's assassination. From early May to mid-September, the Buvette du Bateau offers daily specials at lunchtime and tapas in the evening, with a breathtaking view over the harbour.

Nico & Co

The Italian bar and restaurant Nico & Co welcomes you on Rue du Rhône. It’s one of the best afterwork venues in Geneva. With summer just around the corner, a host of refreshment stands, trucks and other pop-up bars are springing up in parks, along the water’s edge and on local terraces. Drinks, snacks, entertainment and live music will have Geneva buzzing throughout the night!

Les Lavandières

On Promenade des Lavandières, the food truck of the same name is the perfect place for a welcome break. The menu features homemade drinks, snacks and free concerts and DJ sets. Try a savoury tart, homemade ginger juice and fresh lemonade in a little corner of paradise on the banks of the Rhône. Open Monday to Friday from 11am to midnight, Saturday from 2pm to midnight and Sunday from 2pm to 10pm.

Jardin des Nations

This atypical refreshment stand, located on a transitional urban development site and open until 2024, hosts events and activities of all kinds. From urban vegetable gardens and cultural events to pétanque and concerts by local artists. Come and have a drink and imagine the city of tomorrow at Jardin des Nations! Open Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm to 9.30pm, Friday from 3pm to 9.30pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

La Canopée

Dedicated to relaxation and fitness, this pop-up summer venue located next to Baby Plage features a refreshment bar, a food truck, hammocks and a beautiful waterside terrace. Above all, it’s the yoga, Zumba and cardio classes, the concerts and the fun activities for children that make La Canopée such a success! Check out the programme of events here.

Le Cormoran

On the right bank, Le Cormoran features a perfect spot to unwind next to the port. From June to September, this pop-up venue offers a menu featuring local and seasonal produce, as well as an eclectic programme for young and old. Cinema screenings, concerts, wellbeing and relaxation activities, as well as make-up and circus workshops for children await every day from 9am to 10pm, weather permitting.

Sadara

Situated on a beautiful esplanade in the heart of Bois de la Bâtie, the sun-drenched Sadara refreshment stand features a selection of snacks and drinks, including delicious Asian noodles, sandwiches, hotdogs and, for those with a sweet tooth, homemade cakes! From March to October, you can play pétanque, do yoga or relax in front of a film. The bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm and on Sundays from 10am to 9pm, weather permitting.

À la Pointe

Situated at the confluence of the Arve and Rhône rivers, at the end of the Sentier des Saules, À la Pointe features sun loungers, entertainment and a live music programme from Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 9pm. The cool, friendly venue overlooks the emerald waters of the river and the wooded pontoons that line it: the perfect place for a drink after a swim!
