Archipel
Archipel is about young people combining the lyricism of Italo Calvino and urban cultures, in a show that is liberating, hybrid and hypnotic.
Multidisciplinary
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
On stage, skateboarders, tracers and dancers move on a skateboard ramp, conceived as a space for movement, a territory for free expression and a stage set. Echoing this metaphorical and visual rewriting of urban space, extracts from Italo Calvino's novel Invisible Cities sketch out yet more cities.
Nicolas Musin invites us to see in each of them a new world, a world to be reinvented differently, betting that every young person has an invisible city within them - whether they express it in words or gestures.
The music, composed by Sébastien Trouvé, accompanies the imaginary drift of the young performers of the Troupe UMA.
