A tasting of local products and live production of a wheel of Gruyère cheese on 24 August in Dardagny. A joyous and gourmet event bringing together several Genevan brotherhoods and artisans.

It's a joyous, gourmet event proposed by several Genevan brotherhoods and artisans to discover local produce with a delicious aperitif and a glass of wine. It's all there: cheese, bread, longeole, wine and conviviality!
Organised by the Préfecture genevoise du Gruyère, in association with the Académie du CEP, the Confrérie de la Longeole, the Chevaliers du Bon Pain, the Cave Stephane Gros, the Ferme Bieri and the traiteur de Châtelaine and Opage.
A real wooden chalet built for the occasion will host the main event of the day: the production on site during the morning of a wheel of Gruyère cheese made directly from the day's milking. The magnificent chalet is the same one that was present at the last Fête des Vignerons in Vevey, recreating a real mountain pasture chalet with its wood-fired cauldron for traditional Gruyère cheese-making.
From midday, the raclette stand will open its doors, offering no less than 3 different types of cheese, all accompanied by a pepper specifically selected for its ideal marriage of flavours with raclette (raclette portion 10.-).
Programme:
10 a.m. Welcome of participants, introduction to Gruyère cheese making, opening of the refreshment area
11.15 a.m. Aperitif
12 p.m. Opening of the Raclette stand and Meal

Access by public transport: https://www.dardagny.ch/index.php/vie-pratique/transports. You can take out optional cancellation insurance when you order your tickets.
