CLOSING EVENT - SYNTH & MODULAR LIVE w/ BOODAMAN and YATONI & IVORY A IVY
For the grand finale at L'Abri of THE OPEN SYNTH LAB, from 7.30pm to 10pm, two immersive performances await you, paying tribute to the sounds of synthesizers.
The Electron festival closes its 22nd edition on Saturday 10 May with two unmissable events. While some festival-goers will get carried away by the festive energy of the Open Air: Electron x Terminus, alongside one of the scene's most emblematic duos, Dam Swindle, others will choose to escape one last time into the fascinating world of The Open Synth Lab, this interactive playroom in collaboration with SMEM (Swiss Museum for Electronic Music).
For this grand finale at L'Abri, from 7.30pm to 10pm, two immersive performances await you, paying tribute to the sounds of synthesizers. Yatoni & Ivory A Ivy will be fusing the bewitching warmth of analogue machines with the cutting-edge aesthetics of contemporary digital sound, between hardware and software, in a never-before-seen live performance. Later in the evening, Boodaman, a leading figure in Swiss analogue electronic music and founder of the ADSR Geneva association, will be taking his place behind his modular machines, sculpting soundscapes of unprecedented precision. With each new performance, he redefines the boundaries of what is possible, offering an experience in which technology becomes an extension of the artist's soul.
