A Journey Through Myths and Legends

After the 2024 anniversary edition marking the 10th year of the Geneva Lux festival, we kick off 2025 with the firm intention of… keeping the momentum going. Showcasing urban art that is both popular and spectacular, and inviting the public to enjoy the city and venture out despite the season.

The natural setting remains unchanged: the Rade. A Rade ready to awaken in the chill of winter, offering a majestic backdrop for the luminous artworks.

For this eleventh edition, visitors will discover 23 luminous installations, 14 of which are brand new! The common theme this year is myths and legends. Young and old alike will find themselves, as they wander along the water and through the Jardin Anglais, amazed by dazzling and articulated creatures, lost in a magical forest, or watching a local version of the Loch Ness monster emerge from the water.

Each weekend, in addition to the artworks, visitors can enjoy poetic luminous performances at nightfall, blending characters and acrobats. As always, they can also warm up with a glass of mulled wine or tea at the festival’s refreshment stand, which this year will be set up amidst the installations in the Jardin Anglais.

From Darkness to Light

A stroll through the Jardin Anglais becomes a magical adventure where shimmering wyverns and flying fish cross paths and observe us. Trees come alive with the glow of fireflies, while nocturnal suns illuminate the park. An immersive experience where myths and legends come to life under the Geneva sky. On weekends, shadowy creatures and lake elves emerge to celebrate the return of the light.
