The fantastic Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), made up of 15 of the finest soloists and ensembles in jazz, has been the resident orchestra at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC since 1988 and spends over a third of the year touring the world. The long-time conductor and musical director is the virtuoso trumpeter and nine-time Grammy Award winner Wynton Marsalis, arguably the most influential jazz musician of the moment and the only musician to have won the award in two different categories – jazz and classical – in the space of one year (1983-1984). Five years after their sold-out concert at the Victoria Hall, this great big band is back to prove once again that jazz is an expression of joie de vivre and mutual respect. Let’s look forward to an exclusive and unforgettable concert in Geneva.
