NO NO NANETTE, musical

Composed by Vincent Youmans, "No No Nanette" is adapted from the play by Emil Nyitray and Frank Mandel, My Lady Friends, performed in 1919 on Broadway. The musical was created in 1924 in Chicago where it met with great success. Its French adaptation dates from 1926, signed Roger Ferréol and Robert de Simone, the lyrics being by Paul Colline and Georges Merry with a premiere in Paris at the Mogador Theater.
Since then, this book has probably been produced thousands of times around the world and his "Tea for Two" or "I want to be happy" have become international standards.
Floriane Vergères signs here an adaptation and a staging that is both funny and universal with the soloists, choir and dancers of the Compagnie du Temps de Scène musically conducted by Patrick Vo Vang Phuc (piano) and Thibaud Raquin (saxophones).
