For the huge crowd of loyal fans, it was like the end of the world when Dire Straits stopped performing in 1995. But thanks to those same passionate fans, the music of this hugely popular rock band is more alive than ever. The demand for songs from the musical universe that Dire Straits left behind is as strong as ever, even among the younger generation.

Dire Straits member Chris White and six world-class musicians perform gems from the original repertoire, including ‘Sultans of Swing’, ‘Money for Nothing’, ‘Private Investigations’ and many more - the legend lives on! The Dire Straits Experience manages to bring back to life the unrivalled musical class of Dire Straits in an extremely authentic way. For example, Chris White believes that Terence Reis is uniquely capable of reproducing the vocal and instrumental qualities of former Straits frontman Mark Knopfler. The bar is set high. Nevertheless, the new line-up is a solid collection of musical talent.
