Geneva City Pass

Our 48H itinerary suggestion

Find out about recommended itineraries from our Tourist Center experts and make the most of your Geneva City Pass. Irrespective of the length of your stay, be it 24, 48 or 72 hours: Geneva is always an unforgettable experience!

Day 1

Get your trip to Geneva off to an adventure on an electric-solar mini train to discover Geneva’s left shore.
Afterwards, relax at the Genève-Plage where you can also tuck into a healthy meal. This fabulous two-hectare tree-lined park situated on the shores of Lake Geneva just ten minutes from the city centre features sports and leisure areas, and is also a great place to unwind.

Next, stop off at the Bodmer Foundation. Papyrus, medieval manuscripts and archaeological documents; testaments to the world's greatest human advancements are represented here.
To round off your first day, we recommend taking the cable car to Mont Salève to enjoy great views of awe-inspiring natural scenery. Take a big breath of fresh air and admire the panoramic view of Geneva and the lake.

The Martin Bodmer Foundation is currently closed for renovation work. The reopening is planned for spring 2025.

Day 2

Start your second day in our beautiful city by visiting the famous International Quarter. The Palais des Nations, the Broken Chair and the ICRC are waiting for you!
Visit the Old Town and then St Pierre Cathedral which also features an archaeological site. Climb the cathedral's 157 steps to take in stunning panoramic views of Geneva and its surroundings.
