Morgan, graphic design

I'm Morgan, creator of La Jonx - Atelier Graphique…

Introduce yourself and your activity in a few lines

I'm Morgan, creator of La Jonx - Atelier Graphique, a graphic design project that started 5 years ago on the banks of the Rhône.

What does Geneva represent to you?

The swirls of the Rhône playing around you on a summer swim, the Neptune’s white sails coming into harbour, the ballet of sails in the lake regattas, the dancing carp by the jetty of the Bains des Pâquis, and working on days when the weather won't let you enjoy it all!

How does Geneva inspire you in your job?

It's a city that offers both the calm needed to create, and the stimulation needed for creativity.

What do you miss most about Geneva when you are away?

The blue of the lake, the green banks of the Rhône, and the orange of sunsets over the Jura Mountains. In short, the city’s colours!

Friends are visiting you in Geneva, where do you take them?

On cold days, you can enjoy a dip in the lake before a sauna and fondue at Pâquis, and in summer, you can go sailing on the lake! There's nothing like swimming in the middle of the lake, carried there by the wind.

If Geneva were a person, what would she be like?

A mermaid! Beautiful and serene.

Your favourite place in Geneva?

La Jonction, without a doubt :)

If you had to capture Geneva in one landscape, what would you choose and why?

The harbour with the Neptune heading out, sails crossed, between the Jet d'Eau and the Pâquis lighthouse - in other words, my first ever poster.
