Established abroad in attractive cities and airports, Canonica also has a beautiful, mouth-watering chocolate shop in the centre of Geneva. Ideally located, a stone’s throw from Cornavin station and Les Bergues, this shop dedicated to the world of chocolate offers an exhaustive, varied assortment. The “collection” range, which offers sublime moulded sweets in exciting colours individually decorated by Canonica’s chocolatiers, reveals the uniqueness of the brand. And let’s not forget the ganaches and pralines with their authentic decorations such as the gold palet or the raspberry-sesame, a firm favourite. Finally, classic creations, such as truffles, rochers and orangettes, sit alongside more modern compositions, such as tablets with surprising flavours, and spreads. The iconic pavés make up elegant gift boxes. In addition to these chocolate treats, the establishment offers a snack menu with homemade sandwiches, fresh salads and hot and cold drinks. Canonica is a firm believer in craftsmanship and puts the product at the centre of the experience with a central counter and a magical hanging seat around which the entire shop is arranged. Dressed in wood, glass and decorated with hessian, the place offers a friendly and trendy setting to enjoy a takeaway lunch or a sweet snack. Canonica’s chocolates are prized for their intricate and creative nature and are meticulously crafted from high quality natural ingredients. In their factory, located in the district of Vernier, exceptional cocoa beans are mixed with fresh fruit purées, spices and coloured toppings, which enhance the candies, chocolates, ganaches and delicious pralines. Rigorously selected, the raw materials, whose origin and production have been certified, offer intense aromas that have seduced the finest connoisseurs. Awarded multiple prizes, such as Swiss Champion at the Swiss Bakery Trophy or the Grand Prix du Chocolat Artisanal, the family business has managed to maintain its unique know-how, combining traditional methods, modernity and originality with a traditional recipe that is kept secret.
